When rodents consumed a grape-based powder drink for two weeks, they had fewer blood pressure spikes than the critters that just sipped water. “Oxidative stress in the body may contribute to anxiety, and grapes’ high antioxidant content may have a protective effect,” says study author Dr Samina Salim.
